Visa-Free Business Travel to Peru for Japanese Nationals
From July 1, 2025, Japanese ordinary passport holders are permitted to enter Peru without a visa for business purposes for a period of up to 183 consecutive or cumulative days within one year from the date of their first entry.
Japanese nationals do not require a visa to enter Peru for tourism for up to 183 days per year. The stay period is typically limited to 90 days per visit, however an extension may be granted provided there is valid reason.
This new policy reflects reciprocal travel facilitation measures between Japan and Peru, further to recent implementation of a visa waiver policy for nationals of Peru traveling to Japan.
