Middle East Travel Considerations

Due to ongoing airspace restrictions and route disruptions in parts of the Middle East, travel documentation requirements may change at short notice, affecting visit visas, transit visas, eVisas (including visa‑on‑arrival), arrival cards and passport renewals.

Travelers should carefully check visa requirements and ensure they are carrying all required documentation for both entry and any transit points along their journey. Limited direct flight availability to certain destinations is also resulting in more itineraries with layovers, often booked on separate tickets. Some countries require a valid visa even for short connections, and failure to hold the correct documentation for every stage of travel may result in being denied boarding. Border authorities are likely to strictly enforce these requirements.

Many countries now process travel authorizations exclusively through online government portals. Clients are encouraged to contact their Nomadic representative as early as possible for guidance and support.
