Those who are eligible can make an electronic application in five categories without the need to visit a visa center. The five categories are tourism, business, medical, ‘Ayush’ (traditional Indian medicine), and conferences.
Biometric information is captured upon arrival in India. Approved eVisas allow entry via 32 designated airports and five seaports. The traditional paper visa route remains available through the Indian Consular Application Centers in Kuwait.
